Stratton Jitney Reservations Policy Information:

Credit Card information is required to reserve a seat on any Stratton Jitney trip.   Your Credit Card will be charged the applicable fare at the time of booking for each seat reserved.   Reservations are final and are not cancelable.   No credit will be issued for no-shows.   Your use of this web page signifies your agreement with this policy and your acceptance of our terms.

For your own safety and to avoid possible personal injury, please remain in your seat while onboard the motorcoach and while it is in operation.

Stratton Jitney is not responsible for lost tickets and personal property.

Reservations are required to guarantee a seat:
Reserved passengers must be at the stop at least 10 minutes before departure time in order to hold their reservation.    Arrival times are estimates and can vary due to weather, traffic conditions, road conditions and day of week. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to causes beyond our control.

Fares and Tickets:
All Stratton Jitney reservations require advance reservations and purchase.   Reservations are non-refundable.  You will receive an email which is your receipt and your ticket.   The email must be presented to the motorcoach operator to gain passage on your scheduled trip.   The email/ticket is valid only for the date, trip and time designated.   Children 2 and under travel free though they may need to sit on a parent or guardians lap if the bus is full.    Please see our fare table located here.  Payment in full via credit card is required at time of booking.   No refunds.

Pets are charged $15.00 and must be kept in an approved, small, enclosed carrier throughout the trip per NY State Dot regulations.   If pet carrier does not fit under seat or can not be kept on the pasenger's lap, full fare will be charged for each seat occupied by the carrier.  

Luggage and Freight:
Stratton Jitney is not responsible for lost tickets, unchecked items, carry on items and personal property.   Please tag all luggage and freight with name, address and phone number.    Stratton Jitney and its agents reserve the right to inspect the contents of luggage and packages.

Departure Times:
Coaches depart promptly at scheduled times. Stratton Jitney will NOT be responsible for passengers not on board at departure time

Privacy Policy:
We will not share or sell your personal information. We will never collect or share information about you. In general terms, we collect information so we can process your reservations, let you enjoy and improve our website, services, and products. Stratton Jitney collects information (such as your name, address, email address, etc.) from you that we use to:

  • process your reservation(s);
  • provide you with customer support and;
  • send you newsletters and other communications such as rider alerts, schedules, maybe an occasional survey, and special offers.

Stratton Jitney will set and access our own cookies on your computer to allow you to make reservations and interact at the site. We also use web beacons to gather anonymous, aggregated statistical information (e.g. unique hits, page views, etc.) about our website traffic.

We may share information collected by us with third parties to help process your reservations (e.g. credit card processors) or to provide statistical and demographic analysis to Stratton Jitney to help us and our business partners provide you with better services and offerings.

We will not share, rent, lease, or sell your personal information (e.g. your email address, your name, your address, etc.) to any third party for their independent use or benefit. Stratton Jitney does not store or maintain any credit card information on its servers.

On occasion Stratton Jitney sends emails to customers who have used our services.   These emails may include new schedules, discount offers, valuable information regarding changes or interruptions in service or other marketing or promotional campaigns.   Stratton Jitney never shares any personal information with any other entity.   If you do not wish to receive promotional emails from Stratton Jitney, please click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of your first email.   You will be removed from our contact list immediately.   Please accept our apology for any inconvenience.   If you wish to continue receiving emails of this type, please add our address to your email white list.  Thank you.

Future changes to this Privacy Policy may be made at any time by sending you an email or posting notice of the changes on the site, with the changes effective 30 days after Stratton Jitney's dispatch of the email or posting of the notice.
